Jill recently placed 2nd worldwide in the talenthouse millinery competition celebrating the Queen's jubilee.  The Queen's jubilee pillbox travelled to London to be a part of the celebrations but now is back safely in my studio. 

Jill Humphries is a Melbourne based New Zealand-born milliner that has developed quite a discerning following with many international buyers seeking out her beautifully crafted creations for their collections.

With an eye for global inspiration, Jill sources many of her fabrics and textiles from around the world, marrying them against some of Australia's finest supplies in her designs. “I’m always seeking out new trends and fashion themes from around the globe to incorporate into my work,” she says. Currently Jill's leather oversized leather flowers are proving popular following the runway trend in Europe with more femine headwear. Jill styles each hat by hand and puts hours of work into every piece ensuring each creation is unique.

Jill's headwear is seen at many Fashions on the Field events (winning Millinery of the day and top overall awards of the day), with clients purchasing multiple pieces to ensure they have the right hat for the day and weather.
